Kliff turned and beckoned to his girlfriend, Celine. She jogged to his side. They were late, but contrary to Celine, Kliff didn’t care much. He was usually late to the first class, and almost all the teachers knew why. The pair made their way into the stuffy English room and sat down. I hadn’t expected this. Waking to bright lights and very loud voices. The first thing I see is a face, soft and wispy at first and then grows steadily more clear. It’s a woman. Human. She smiles. The room is surrounded with people rushing and bustling. Talking in whispers and hushed voices. The hospital is quite, it’s the dead of night.
